Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk

If you are a photography enthusiast [or a photographer… hahaha], then you must have heard about Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photo Walk. It is a global event in which thousands of photographers walk here and there in various cities across the world and capture random [or not] images of those places, a street photography of sorts. 2011 is the fourth year of this annual event. Anything that can capture photos can be used [DSLR, point-and-shoot, cam phone, iPhone, iPad, etc.] and get this, WWPW is always free!

Kota Kinabalu’s 2011 edition of WWPW was held today morning and marked the second time the city joined in as part of the walk. I participated in this event as a walker along with another four friends of mine, Zell, Syed Noor Yazeed, Ummi, and Afiezul. We went throughout KK for about two hours in the morning, and although we were exhausted due to the heat, I think we gained a lot of experience in improving our skills. I didn’t shoot a lot of photos though. Besides, I still need to catch up with the rest of the others in my photographing skill, but yeah… every good photographer needs to start from somewhere.

[P.S.: Thanks for your camera Moy~!]
