Infinity is an Ocean

Infinity is an ocean

without a horizon
without a floor
I am drowned
and I only see
nothingness

The depth is
a scary place
void of colours
I long for sunshine
but time seems
to have stopped
working and
only night functions
here

Infinity is forever
I reach the cold
my skin peels off
my blood merges
with the saltwater
and my breathing
ceases to exist
I want to swim
Swim I really try
but the sink
is easier
